The Trichotillomania Support Group

Trichotillomania is a neurobiological disorder that manifests itself in the urge to pull out one’s hair, resulting in noticeable hair loss. Sufferers may experience profound hopelessness, depression, and embarrassment that can impact on every aspect of their lives. This group meets on alternate Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45 PM in Suite 9 of the Rosemont Plaza Apartments at 1062 Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. Here people have a chance to share their stories, struggles, and successes, and for many this is the first time they meet others with the same challenge. Members have an opportunity to set goals with encouragement and tips from their peers.  For more information telephone Sally Allen at 610-525-1510.
